All fraternities and sororities at Appalachian State University are governed by student-run councils who plan educational programs, offer academic incentives, enforce policies, oversee recruitment and intake processes and, moreover, provide a support network and voice to the University and local community. Comprising 10% of the undergraduate student population, the fraternity and sorority community unites under these governing councils to improve the overall intellectual and educational campus climate.

The Council Office is located in the Plemmons Student Union, Room 203. To contact the council office by phone, please dial 828.262.2525.
